Customer Service

Customer service is available 24 hours a day via email: customercare@hatsandhaberdashery.com. Your request will be answered in the order that it is received. During busy times, please allow up to 24 hours for a response. Contact by phone at 231-271-5226, Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 5:30 pm EST.

Order Processing Time
All orders will be processed within one to two business days.

Sales Tax
Michigan sales tax (6%) must be applied to all orders placed by Michigan residents regardless of the shipping address. International customers please see our shipping info regarding customs or duty taxes.

Merchandise Return Policy        
H and H Collection accepts returned merchandise that bears no sign of damage or wear. Merchandise may be returned for exchange, credit, or refund within 14 days of the receipt for the full purchase price excluding shipping charges. All sales are final on special orders and certain sale items that are clearly marked “Final Sale” or “All Sales Final”.

Return Policy Detail  
1. Merchandise may be returned for exchange, store credit, or refund within 14 days of receipt for the full purchase price excluding shipping charges.
2. Absolutely no returns will be accepted after the allowed 14 days.
3. Returned merchandise must bear no signs of use, damage, wear, or washing. Care must be taken to keep all perfumes, lotions, deodorants, cigarette smoke, and animal hair away from the ordered items. If it is determined that the merchandise does not qualify for a return, it will be sent back to the customer at their expense.
4. All tags must remain in place on the merchandise.
5. All sales are final on special orders.
6. Some sale items are not returnable, there will be a note stating this on the item’s description page.

Special Return Requirements
If an item's description page states that it has “special return requirements”, they are as follows: 
1. The customer must contact H and H Collection via phone or email within 24 hours of receiving the order with a determination as to whether or not the item will be kept or returned. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of the right to return. 
2. When trying on merchandise, extra care must be taken to keep all perfumes, lotions, deodorants, cigarette smoke, and animal hair away from the garment. In addition, shoes and jewelry must be removed before trying on clothing.

Instructions for Returns  
1. The customer must contact customer service via email or phone for a RA# (Return Authorization Number) prior to sending any returns.
2. Please complete the Return Form which will be enclosed with your order.
3. Place the Return Form and the item to be returned in a box or envelope comparable to the one you received your order in, be sure all tags and garment accessories remain attached and mail or ship to the address provided below.
4. Write your RA# on the outside of your shipping box. Failure to include the RA# on the outside of the box may result in the box being refused by the returns department.
5. It is advisable to insure your package as refunds are not issued for items lost or damaged in shipping.
6. Return shipping and handling is not refundable.

Merchandise Exchanges  
If you wish to make a return for exchange the shipping is free in the lower 48 states. Free exchange shipping is not available internationally or to Hawaii and Alaska.

     Instruction for Exchanges for a Different Size: Follow the "Instructions for Returns" listed above. When requesting your RA# let us know that you wish to exchange for a different size. If the size is available, you may choose to have it charged to your card and immediately sent out or you may choose to wait until the return is back in house and then have the next size sent with no card transaction.

     Instruction for Exchanges for a Different Item: Follow the "Instructions for Returns" listed above. When requesting your RA# let us know that you wish to exchange for a different item. We are unable to hold different item exchanges until the return is received, therefore, exchanges for a different item will be charged to the customer's credit card upon receipt of the order and shipped free of charge. When the return is received, the customer's credit card will be refunded for the returned item.
