Safe Ordering Online:
The Hats and Haberdashery online store is safe and secure for online shopping, using a 128-bit encrypted SSL certificate. None of your information is shared with any third parties.
Customer Service:

Processing Time:
All orders will be processed within two to three business days.
Taxes:
Michigan sales tax (6%) must be applied to all orders placed by Michigan residents regardless of the shipping address.
Returns Policy:
1. Merchandise may be returned for exchange, store credit, or refund within 14 days of receipt for the full purchase price excluding shipping charges.
2. Absolutely no returns will be accepted after the 14 days.
3. Returned merchandise must bear no signs of use, damage, wear or washing. If it is determined that the merchandise does not qualify for a return, it will be sent back to the customer at their expense.
4. All tags must remain in place on the merchandise.
5. All sales are final on special orders.
5. Some sale items are not returnable, there will be a note stating this on the item’s description page.

Instructions for Returns:
1. The customer must contact customer service via email or phone for a Return Authorization prior to sending any returns.
2. Please complete the Return Form which will be enclosed with your order.
2. Place the Return Form, a copy of your receipt, and the item to be returned in a box or envelope comparable to the one you received your order in and mail or ship to the addresses provided below.
3. It is advisable to insure your package, we do not give refunds on items lost or damaged in shipping.
4. Return shipping and handling are not refundable.

Shipping Costs:
Hats and Haberdashery uses UPS Ground and US Postal Service Priority Mail. All shipments are tracked and insured. Shipping costs are paid for by the customer. Return shipping is also the responsibility of the customer. Exchanges will be mailed to the customer free of charge.
Domestic Shipping to Lower 48 via UPS or US Postal Service:
$0.00 - $250.00 = $10.00
$250.01 - $500.00 = $15.00
500.01 - $1000.00 = $20.00
$1000.01 = FREE via UPS ground or USPS Priority Mail
Shipping to Canada, Alaska, and Hawaii via US Postal Service Only:
$0.00 - $500.00 = $25.00
$500.00 - $1000.00 = $30.00
$1000.00 + = $35.00
International Shipping via US Postal Service Only:
$0 - $500 = $45
$0 - $1000 = $55
$1000 plus = $60
Some items may have additional shipping charges due to size or weight. This will be noted under the product's description.

Please note that a value of half of the full retail cost of your purchase will be claimed on the customs form attached to your order. This amount is for the purpose of insuring your items while in transit. It is very likely that your country will require some sort of customs or duty charges on your order from Hats and Haberdashery. Hats and Haberdashery is not responsible for custom or duty charges collected by the customer’s home country. Most countries do have websites that discuss the rules and regulations governing customs and duties.
